Welcome to Chatwin Books. We are a new publisher of print and digital books in a wide range of topics, run by a team with many decades of experience in all aspects of the book business.

At the heart of who we are, and what we do, is working with authors to support their craft, and their entire body of work, throughout the publication process. Using our experience and drive to help our authors create great books is the surest way our team can ensure a great experience for our readers.

In addition to the work we do for our own books, we do editorial, design, author branding, marketing, and other work on a contract basis for other publishers and authors. We also distribute books from other publishers, both print and digital.

Holding the Earth Together: Youth Voices Speak for Our World

The groundbreaking Stories of Arrival Refugee & Immigrant Youth Poetry Project is in its seventh year in Seattle, and this anthology offers the fruit of dozens of students' efforts as English Language Learners to put their wrenching experiences of migration into words, using the power of poetry and the tools of art.

"In this time of hard-hearted turning away from refugees and immigrants, Holding the Earth Together: Youth Voices Speak for Our World offers us this breathing truth—we need these youth voices like we need air, sunshine and water. If you want a spirit of humanity to flourish within your heart and mind, reading this exciting book will help."

—John Fox, CEO,  The Institute for Poetic Medicine

"These students have inside them the capacity to seriously transform peoples’ minds and hearts if their message of peace, loss, care and love reaches a broader audience."

—Deepa Iyer, Field and Education Specialist for the International Rescue Committee’s New Roots Program

"These poems provide readers insight into the hopes, dreams, challenges and significant sacrifices of our refugee and immigrant students."

—Pat Larson, former Principal of Foster High School, where more than 70 languages are spoken daily by refugee and immigrant students
